my heart goes out to anyone who has booked for the ebdon / dott match. I feel sorry for dott to some extent because he's doesn't always deserve the grinder tag. in some matches he's been quite sprightly.

i like the look of williams/white, will be interesting to see how ronnie does. lisowski / hawkins i'll tune into as well. i tend not to watch the whole thing otherwise i find myself getting snookered out by the end. probably only four matches in the first round, at least half the second round and as much as possible of the quarters.

i've got a feeling robertson will win this year. I think the draw has been fairly kind to him. semi finalists higgins, murphy, robertson & selby?

I personally think it'll be a good game as I believe that Dott is going to play very well.

I'm glad Martin Gould manage to make it through. On a good day, possibly the best long potter in the game. Some of the shots I've seen him pot have been incredible.

I don't know how he does it because he appears to see over his glasses.

More seriously, the only annoying part for me is the fact ROS and Higgo could meet as soon as the quarters. Would be a heck of a match!
Besides that, I like the Welsh battle between Old Williams and Young White!

IN 2010 they also met in a match where Dott played some of the best snooker in the whole tournament and won a very comfortable victory, so too early to rule that one out.
