What tickled me so much was the sincerity behind it It wasn't like a sarcastic clap because he'd played a crap shot. It was as though he couldn't contain his excitement at having laid such a delicate snooker.
Very endearing!
"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"
4 hours + for 1st 8 frames - couldn't finish 1st session due to the timewasting
2nd session overran by so much they had to reschedule the last 5 frames
peter ebdon's highest break after 14 frames and almost 8 hours - 45
some people contend this is skill and if you can't cope with it, it's your fault - lmao

well, graeme might beg to differ. he hasn't said anything about ebdon yet but he lambasted selby for 'boring him to tears'. when a 'pencil pusher' like graeme dott says someone is 'boring' and 'negative' - lol. actually selby has taken the art of timewasting to another level - he has injected his own brand of negative snooker aka what 70 year old grumps do at snooker clubs to prevent young guys from out-potting them. so basically, push balls safe, touchy touchy or roll up whenever there is any risk, waste a lot of time and hope this frustrates the opponent so much, he hands you the match
unfortunately for snooker & most rational snooker fans, this strategy is actually working

The King - Allen match is shaping up for a great finish this evening. I'm a bit behind, but will catch up quickly after the break.
Could be a close finish as well...and after that we still have another 5 frames of the conclusion to the Ebdon - Dott match to look forward to. And yes...I do mean 'look forward to' cause I did kinda enjoy those earlier frames.
Could beat the Terry Griffiths all-time record late night finish (around 4am). Nah...that might be stretching it a little there
Btw someone give Mark one of those plastic baby bottles, so he can't drop and break his water glass again
dott is actually not a slow player but he will scrap if he has to.
He's not slow or fast, and he doesn't use slowplay to **** his opponents off like Ebdon and Selby sometimes do. Anyway the guy you answered to seems to be a Selby fanboy, so he prefers to have a go at Dott and refuse to admit how cheap Selby was when he and Dott met at the Masters -- what fanboys always do. So you may just ignore the provocation..
