Yes I think you could be right there, hope so anyway.

Just saw it again...had me going again...very funny it was

But...Poomjaeng, get it together now (or rather tomorrow) and maybe you still have a chance.

        • Wow incredible...Michaela Tabb makes exactly the same mistake as she did a couple years ago in a frame with Maguire...in exactly the same spot as well. That time it was rather endearing. This was very unfortunate as she clearly was rattled by Poomjaeng's antics I'm afraid. I feel for her...difficult night for a ref to referee.

You do realise this is the world championship? Not an exhibition match.

she is a shockingly bad referee. earlier in the match Poomjaeng was going for a pink to the middle and it was tight as to whether he could see enough of it to pot it and he caught the red first before striking the pink, she didn't call foul and he owned up to it. It was blatantly a foul yet she hasn't got the speed or eyes to see it. I really don't think she is cut out to ref in the professional game and she's only in the game because they wanted something appealing for some of the male viewers.

I respectfully disagree with you competely and utterly on all your points...I think Michaela Tabb is one the very best refs out there!

Fair enough you are entitled to your opinion but what makes you rate her higher than some others?

Do you remember the instance some years ago where she had to perform a very awkward respot of the pink? She began shaking and became so nervous and embarrassed that her hands completely failed her. It was excruciatingly painful to watch.

In fact, here it is, and it's still not right when she's finished. Look at the position of the pink at 2:05 - it could go nearer to its own spot by at least an inch.

"Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

Remember it clearly. I will always try to see the human side of things...that was clearly a very difficult task and needed a very steady hand. I think she did very well in very difficult circumstances.

Yeh I've seen so many moments of shocking stuff from her that I've come to the conclusion that she is only there for the viewing figures. Its amazing how many people say they only watch when she is reffing so there must be something in that!
She is terrible at replacing the balls from a foul and miss, often gets the cueball in totally the wrong position, she has poor concentration, misses fouls sometimes like this evening and of course the infamous picking up of the cueball. If she was in any other job she'd have been kicked out long ago. Far better refs at amatuer level than her but because their face doesn't 'fit' they will never make it to the TV pro grade.

                          • I'm already sorry that I started that post on Michaela, with all the Michaela-haters now coming out of the woodwork and start bashing her...not very nice lads

Meanwhile White did well keeping his wits about him with everything else going on around him. Very tough job for Poomjaeng tomorrow...I'm hoping he will come out with his serious-cap on this time.

                            • Hope White gets the job done as quickly as possible and we can get back to snooker instead of all the silly antics. There is £8k on the line in this match and as they play snooker to earn money I'm not sure why it should be anything other than 100% serious. Doesn't get any bigger than the WC's.

                              • Must be that time of year again..'The let's all have a go at Michaela Tabb' brigade are out in force again, like to see some of you refereeing, she is a top class ref, she didn't do two...two world finals for nothing. Stop having a go at her.
