Say what you want about Selby, but he's amazing at bringing out the worst in his opponents. He's almost impossible to blow off the table.

The fact Barry's missing is not all down to Selby's 'grinding'.

It is. Selby does that to you - he almost brings your game down by frustrating the hell out of you. It's no coincidence that his big matches often lack 'quality'. He turns it into a scrap as he knows no one can beat him in those games, other than an in-form Higgins maybe.

It's annoying to watch as for me he's one of the most boring players on tour (ironic given his nickname!) but he does what he needs to win. You can't blame him, really.
