But Ronnie is not missing all the long pots, is he? He knocks one in now and then...

The tactic is working - Carter is having a lot of chances, but the problem is he isn't taking them.

It's why I think Trump has a pretty good record against ROS. He'll attempt a long pot and screw back - if he pots, he's in. If he misses, Ronnie has a long pot and as we know, that has been his weakness the last few years (with the exception of last years WC, and the UK match vs Ding). More often that not he'll miss, and leave Trump in the balls.

Of all the matches I've seen so far, this has by far had the lowest quality. Both players playing with their C game at best.

Ugh Selby haters bore me to tears...more so than Selby bores them to tears. To be honest his A game is quick, free flowing & attacking, much like all the top players. The difference is that he knows when he isn't firing and can adjust his game accordingly (something some of the younger guys could do with learning). Say what you like about him, but Selby is one of the most versatile players on the circuit & fully deserving of his ranking
