Just had a score each way on these three:
Ebdon
Baird
Poomjaeng
Now I can sit back in my dream bubble and watch-m-roll-in
I presume, like most people, you are fond of money...therefore I'd imagine these are match bets and not outright tournament bets?
Fancy Ebdon to beat Dott, Baird isn't a bad player but not sure how he will perform on the big stage. I think the other match depends on which head Maguire brings with him though as he will be expected to walk this match I'm sure his confidence will be sky high and he will stifle Poomjaeng.
...and the familair Crucible faces in the crowd as always...the older couple that have the exact same seats for decades, and the one guy with the blue shirt which I just recognize, but cannot begin to describe cause well, he's just a regular type guy Didn't he propose to his then girlfriend last year? Edit : wait a sec...his wife's sitting besides him...I recognize her now.
Anyway...familiair faces, familair surroundings...familiair wonderful feelings this saturday. :snooker:
Familiar faces in the crowd, something which always annoys me! I ask the same question every year, but since they stopped doing season tickets, how can these people get front row seats every year? The guy next to Ronnie usually sits at the other side, but this time he presumably wanted to see Ronnie in action. Rant over...until next year.

Ah well to each his own I guess. Hey how about maybe the old couple are Jason Ferguson's mum&dad and the guy's his brother

Those of us who had season tickets in 2005, the last year they were sold to the public, have continued to be offered them since.
I have written to World Snooker on many, many occasions since asking why they are no longer offered for general sale, particularly as there has been a huge upsurge in potential buyers, particularly from overseas, in the years since. I have never had a reply, and purely from a selfish point of view I don't really want to jeopardise the continuation of being offered one myself!

Fair enough, at least he is not there because he has connections within the game.
I actually don't agree with season tickets, even more now the game is gaining popularity again, since that would limit the number of people seeing the tournament. It would be the same faces at every match. It would be interesting to find out how many people in those front few rows are season ticket holders.
Anyway, enthralling frame there and a great pinch for Ronnie!
