I remembered the Parrott one but forgot that Doherty did it too. Big shame for Poomjaeng but he is hilarious all the same!

    • Say what you like about him, but I don't think many people are going to forget Poomjaeng's Crucible debut.

      The fast and the furious,
      The slow and labourious,
All of us, glorious parts of the whole!

I think he is a breath of fresh air to the game! Good to see a personality out there. I loved it when he said 'Come on Michael' when he missed!

        • I don't really find it hilarious. He is obviously distracted by his constant pandering to the crowd.

I tend to agree with you somewhat...Poomjaeng needs to take his snooker just a bit more seriously...it's almost unforgivable to throw a frame away like that. Luckily for him this is The Crucible 2nd round and therefore best of 25...still time to regroup.

              • Just saw the replay of when Dechawat missed the ball on 3 times...I'd flicked over to the football for a few moments and went back & noticed it was 3-1. I'd just thought I'd misread the scoreline as that was one hell of a quick frame!! Dechawats reactions to Michaela Tabbs warning after two misses was priceless

What was the scoreline this time round?

                    HHYES!

He does need to be careful, though. Less dicking about and more concentration on his snooker.

                      poomjang, white, milkins, walden

one of them will be in the crucible semi finale, i dont wanna call this unreal, but the bottoms half has opened up a bit. ging and selby the only tough comeptitors who could meet in the QF

if,i say if, they lose there second round matches wth of a finalist we would have

                      • I would really like to see Poomjaeng take the 6th frame and shake off the earlier mistake of giving the frame away. He needs to focus and try keeping it tight. It's looking like 5-1 though...

Looking good for Selby & Ding, but Walden is no pushover & I'd expect him to prevail in this quarter. I think Selby for the triple crown this year looks a good bet now

                            • Dechawat painful to watch at the minute, not firing at all in this match. Michael White back in a good position here to make it 6-1, if he finishes out the sessions 7-1 its hard to see a turn around in the match

                              • Poomjaeng needs to win both of these last frames. He'd do very well to do so...5-3 behind would be a good result for him especially taking into consideration the mess he's made of tonight's session...I also think we'll see a different Poomjaeng tomorrow.

...and 6-1 it is...White doing what he has to do.
