Wow incredible...Michaela Tabb makes exactly the same mistake as she did a couple years ago in a frame with Maguire...in exactly the same spot as well. That time it was rather endearing. This was very unfortunate as she clearly was rattled by Poomjaeng's antics I'm afraid. I feel for her...difficult night for a ref to referee.

It was blatantly a foul yet she hasn't got the speed or eyes to see it. I really don't think she is cut out to ref in the professional game and she's only in the game because they wanted something appealing for some of the male viewers.

In fact, here it is, and it's still not right when she's finished. Look at the position of the pink at 2:05 - it could go nearer to its own spot by at least an inch.

She is terrible at replacing the balls from a foul and miss, often gets the cueball in totally the wrong position, she has poor concentration, misses fouls sometimes like this evening and of course the infamous picking up of the cueball. If she was in any other job she'd have been kicked out long ago. Far better refs at amatuer level than her but because their face doesn't 'fit' they will never make it to the TV pro grade.

I'm already sorry that I started that post on Michaela, with all the Michaela-haters now coming out of the woodwork and start bashing her...not very nice lads
Meanwhile White did well keeping his wits about him with everything else going on around him. Very tough job for Poomjaeng tomorrow...I'm hoping he will come out with his serious-cap on this time.Last edited by daffie; 25 April 2013, 09:36 PM.

Hope White gets the job done as quickly as possible and we can get back to snooker instead of all the silly antics. There is £8k on the line in this match and as they play snooker to earn money I'm not sure why it should be anything other than 100% serious. Doesn't get any bigger than the WC's.
