    • A good snooker from Judd and an amazing effort by Fu to try and get out of it was so close.. And that bounce off the cushion almost messed things up!

      • Impressive stuff from Trump this evening. Worthy winner. I thought Marco fought his way back to the match in the morning session and hoped for a tighter finnish but it wasn't to be.

I agree with dt assessment. On this form, trump will be hot favourite.

          • I will cry if Judd wins this championship.

              • His long potting and cue power when he's on is jaw dropping. A true talent.

I'm prepped, already shed a tear when Selby and Dotty lost

Well, he's definitely one of the biggest favorites now that Selby and Robertson are out. O'Sullivan didn't impress this afternoon, especially his long game is non-existent. But I fancy him advacing to the quarters as Ali can't win him (he doesn't have the head for it). I guess his long game gets better as the tournament progresses.

I hope for a new world champion, Trump or Ding perhaps. Maybe M. White as black horse...

                        • Ding is a class or two apart but to be fair to King, he is playing as royal as I have ever seen him play .... he played some good stuff to take Allen out and before that he came from 9-7 down to beat the in form Yu Delu. getting interesting!

                            • Oh for heaven's sake come on Ding just thrash that guy! We've had enough upsets, enough 2nd tier players playing the best snooker of their lives. Nobody wants King or Milkins or Mark Davis as world snooker champions this is ridiculous

I got up early to watch it . . . enjoying it too
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                                I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
