  • Don't think I've ever seen King play this well.

Great moment earlier when King played the 'hit and hope' when in the impossible snooker. We need more of that in the game - not the Poomjaeng tomfoolery, but genuine amusement and crowd involvement from time to time, just like DT and others used to do.

That 'missed red' was ridiculous...1 in 1000. And I agree...great stuff from these two and some nice crowd involvement as well.

You know, at the risk of doing a WT (calling a shot after it's been played) I genuinely had a strange sense, after Mark missed the first attempt, that he was going to fluke the cueball back into baulk. It was weird. It was almost as though the expectation from the crowd made it happen.

        • What a session from King, really managed to stifle Ding and I must admit I never expected that scoreline. Can he keep it up for another 2 sessions though? I'd still be surprised if Ding's breakbuilding didn't get him through in the end and he's also improved at playing catch-up recently. Very intriguing match so far.

Strange indeed It certainly was one hell of a hit&hope(&miss) Good job by Mark to lead 6-2.

            • A very good evening for Mark King. It's still a long way to go, but 6-2 is a big advantage, particularly against a player who can lose heart when he goes behind sometimes.

Walden, Hawkins, Milkins, White and... ...King? I don't know what to say really.

Ding looks like he needs a good nights sleep!

No doubt will be back on it tomorrow and murder King!

Mmm, I'm not so sure. King looks too hungry.

Well, Ding now becomes the indisputable favorite of the bottom quarter and the bottom half, but I doubt things will be that easy. On top half, there are still Ronnie and Murphy / Trump vs Fu (Yes, I actually think Fu will become as dangerous if he can knock Trump out are the standout names.
Things are blown wide-open by this stage.

                          • Scrappy start but Bingham should have this one now.

                            • Bit off topic(sort of).. Someone tell rob walker to get a new friggin suit mun..

He was doing the boxing in sheffield last night and he had the same old grey suit on he's been wearing since he started on the snooker scene...

I'm sure his wages will allow for a couple more suits. Rob... buy a new suit bud it is noticeable you are wearing the same suit all the time ya know fella....

                              As you were......

I don't mind who wins this mornings match, just waiting for ron in I...
