Milkins reminds me of John Higgins last year, played well to really well in the first round but let himself down in the next, shame as Virgo said he's box office but Walden's good to watch too so is White but its a flat tyre thing after beating Neil Robertson though imo.

Williams wasn't on it at all, and as for Poomjaeng, well I could have beaten him the way he played in that match (and my highest break is 27). I'm sorry, but I've yet to get even mildly excited about him.

I've been following Michael since his victory in the Wolrd Amateurs in 2006, at age 14 (!), and the kid is very, very good. We're talking at length about the Trumps, the Lisowskis but let's not forget White. The Welshman is supremely gifted. He doesn't play an exhibition snooker like the two Englishmen but boy it's very solid and savvy, mature snooker.
You never reach a quarter final at Sheffield by accident, not in best-of-19 and best-of-25 formats...It still takes some talent to see off Willo. Now true, in the following round, Jack was all over the place and it was an easier one but still....At 21 years of age, it's exciting to see him there.
Can't wait for Ant McGill to join hime on the big stages next year.Ton Praram III Series 1 | 58" 18.4oz 9.4mm | ash shaft + 4 splices of Brazilian Rosewood | Grand Cue medium tips

^^ Tend to agree. O'Sullivan doesn't seem particularly up for playing if you ask me. I was watching him against Carter and he looked like he couldn't care less whether he won or lost.
I'm sorry, Ronnie, I know you hate people analysing you, but it's something you just have to accept when you're in the public eye."Kryten, isn't it round about this time of year that your head goes back to the lab for retuning?"

White has impressed me, considering I wasn't really expecting anything other than a 1st round defeat from him. He could have wobbled against Williams and gifted him the match, and he could have let the pressure get to him once he was in the 2nd round and playing another outsider, but he dealt with it very well.
I think with the way the draw has opened up, he has a chance to reach the semi-finals. Having said that, I see what Billy is saying. It's not like it's been amazing stuff from White, certainly nothing to suggest he could challenge for the title. I think Jones was playing better last year.

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)
