Ronnie's playing so good at the moment that it's frightening, really. If he plays like that in the semis (or final) there's nobody who can stop the guy. People say that Trump's a talent but he's nothing, I repeat nothing, compared to what we are witnessing right now.

Whilst Trump hasn't got Ronnies' artistry when it comes to break building there is nothing that Trump can't do to the same standard as Ronnie. Plus Ronnie does fear Trump out of all the other players because Trump is not scared of him!

For the good of the championship we need Trump to beat Murphy to give Ronnie a test. No disrespect to the players Ronnie has beaten but they haven't turned up and were beaten before the match begun. Trump is a different prospect to the rest, if you know him personally like I got to through seeing him regularly as a kid growing up winning all the time you would know he is going to win a lot of titles. He just has that 'something' about him that the others lack. His comeback last night typified that, many other players would have given up after the first session but he is a very determined person and the challenge of playing Ronnie would be one he would relish whereas every other player in the tournament would fear him.

this bottom half reminds me of the championship in 2008 where ali and perry contested a cruel semi final but later the finalist was dished up by ronnie

absolutely and its all down to pressure nothing else. If you can't beat the likes of Hawkins you don't deserve a world title shot. He has struggled all the way through really, just played well in patches which isn't enough to win this.

Trump may not fear Ronnie, but he has no chance against Ronnie if Ronnie plays like he's doing now. Trump is a great potter, but his positional play relies on luck too much and he has no B-game to fall back on when his cue action fails him. The way Ronnie's playing now; he's an allround player: great potter, great breakbuilder, great safety player and a good B-game to fall back on.
