Little things like this seem trivial, but this could annoy Ronnie and put him in a bad frame of mind for his next match...
Imagine Bingham won 9 in a row tonight.

Does anyone else think that the final could be a bit of an anti-climax this year? I have tickets for the final and hoped to see the likes of Trump v Ronnie but due to some high calibre players being knocked out early on in the second group, the semi finals will see judd against Ronnie and could leave us with just 1 entertaining player in the final. Hawkins is playing quite boring snooker and with 2 of the 4 quarter finalists in that half having never been there before, I think I may be watching a fairly dull final.

Either way, we're looking at a great conclusion to the Trump Murphy match, & then got a great semi with one of these guys playing a Ronnie playing near his peak

I was surprised to learn O'Sullivan failed to secure the match in the last three frames. I gave up on checking the results when Ding lost, and O'Sullivan was leading 12-1 at that point. It must be frustrating for him to have to come back tonight, and even more so if Bingham scrapes out a frame or two and prolongs the match.
You never know in snooker, Ricky Walden has already beaten O'Sullivan in a ranking final, so you can't say it absolutely won't be an interesting final. But yeah, the match that will probably decide this championship starts tomorrow.
