Yes, 4-0 should be the score. Ronnie's outplaying Judd in every department, but Ronnie should up his game a bit more.

The first time anyone did enough to win a frame in one visit, although they certainly weren't going in the centre of the pockets. Another 3-1 after the interval would give O'Sullivan a nice lead.

Trump only has himself to blame really. He had chances in all four frames, but he is 3-1 down instead of 4-0 up. You can't win a match like this one by only scoring six or four points from the chances he's had.

Bit of luck for Ronnie with the position on the black, although Judd has a nerve sarcastically smiling to himself! He was also unlucky in the second frame with a kick on the position for the final brown. So pretty even on the luck front so far.

Does Judd openly intend to come across as arrogant? He never taps the table for opponents, never apologizes for flukes, even if they win him frames, and just always seems to regard his opponents as lucky rather than skilled. I haven't been watching snooker for long (only been in the country for 8 months), but that's how Trump seems.

Progress from Trump, he made 22 on his first chance this time. But more importantly of course, he got himself back in. And to be fair, if it wasn't for the two kicks, he would have won it more comfortably.

If he gets one of the last two frames, he will have survived his bad session better than against Murphy. :wink:

this session reminds me of 2008 SF between ronnie hendry

ronnie played badly and hendry led 4-1 but somehow ronnie draw level at then end of the session

and the rest is history

For the person that said that luck has been pretty even so far the fact Judd has had 5 kicks to 0 to Ronnie says its Judd that's been very unlucky. Also that break off where Ronnie caught the blue, turning point in the frame from the 1st shot.

Judd hasn't really played well all tournament. kicks or not, Ronnie is just outplaying him.
