      • nice 47 break from Hawkins . . . looks like he enjoyed it too

        ; )
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
        I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

        • To be honest i think either of these will play better against Ronnie or Judd just purely for the fact that there will be less pressure on them against either of those two. This is a match that both Walden & Hawkins know they can win and obviously that is playing on their minds hugely. Honestly expected them to have settled by this session but only see some good play coming if one of them takes a good lead over the other. The player in front will feel more confident being a few frames ahead & the other will have less pressure as they have nothing to lose

          • 10/3 on Judd to win the tournament now. Think there might be some value in that as he's only 9-7 down to Ronnie & if he can get out to a good start in tonights session, that lead can be wiped out very quickly

            • Walden doesn't look well. I wonder if he's got a cold or a stomach bug or something.

...probably just exhaustion from the busy schedule

Well, at the start of both sessions, as well as both frames after the interval, Trump had that early chance in the balls, and each time he lost the frame. He needs to score tonight. O'Sullivan isn't playing well enough to keep him away from the table, but he is still taking the frames when Trump breaks down.

and i expect ronnie to hit some form in one of the remaining sessions

like he did in the first session against stuart or in the third session against ali

Yes, it could definitely happen, especially if Trump stays at the current level. To be honest, I thought it was already happening after the interval this morning, but O'Sullivan just failed to keep it up for the last frame.

I wouldn't put money on it, if it was just reverse psychology (assuming I believed in that stuff). If I'm wrong I'll hold my hands up for being the idiot I probably am.

                          • Ronnie might have got a kick on that opening pot. Still battered the leather.
