I think it'd even be OK for him to only play the World Championship every year. Ronnie clearly doesn't like the direction snooker has taken in the last 2-3 years. He's more than earned the right to do whatever he wants to do, whenever he wants to do it.

I dunno. He might have to start coming back full time because he's so short of cash.

On a purely selfish note, I rather like the idea of him coming back to defend his title every year (I've been a Ronnie fan since I was 13. I'm now 31.)

I've been a Ronnie fan since I was 19, 11 months. I'm now 20, 7 months. (I am studying for a year in Leeds, so I had no idea what snooker was other than pool on a big table).

That money comment is total bogus. If he wanted money, he could get more than enough by just doing appearances and playing some exhibitions. He came back because he wanted to win another World Championship.
