and the fact that they have to play an evening session is one more reason that they will be exhaustetd for tomorrows final

and hawkins misses a sitter to put the frame to bed

Agreed, I think momentum is a word used too often in some sports but when it comes to one on one sports I think it is a big factor, at the moment all the momentum is with Hawkins and even if he loses frame 24 (as I think he has this frame in the bag) he will still have that momentum

      • I liked the finger wagging at each other . . .
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
        I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

          • Barry Hawkins looking like the player that put Selby down with frames to spare. Ricky Walden looking like the player that had trouble putting away Robert Milkins.

            Note: I love Robert Milkins.

Glad the pros miss those sometimes too . . .

I Robert Milkins loves his cider, seriously though I think this a potential turning point in the match as little things keep going the way of Hawkins and Walden seems to look like he is playing with a bit of worry, he had a good chance in this frame and hasn't taken twice, I do feel for Walden here as he is going through the mill

                        • funnily enough

had barry taken his chances he could have led

so walden should be happy i suppose

                          • Does Ricky Walden have another outfit? I feel like that's the mark of a good snooker player, being able to wear all black, standard white and black, colored vest back outfit, etc.

                            • great to see ronnie in the world semis and nearly in final.....hes head and shoulders above every player on tour...nobody anywhere near him........takes a full year out from competitive action and nobody can step up to the plate and beat him.........the only person can beat him in the current state that snooker is in, is............himself.

like it or not, i reckon ron would of had a tougher time coming back from a year out and trying to win the world in the early 90s.......i think if he met hendry or white back then coming in cold, or even hot, he would of been up against it.
                              Blown away

Walden has looked edgy getting over the line in all of his matches so it not a big surprise to see this performace from him, Barry is now favourite to win it with the bookies and think that is spot on,
