      • Trump you lucky bugger!

        • Trumps problem is, with his hit and hope he doesnt have control over the white. But because he hits with pace, the rule book is thrown out. Most of the time, its not luck, its because he hits and hopes, the power sends the balls everywhere and can spread out easier or bounce anywhere.

To be honest, alot of it just isn't luck. When i play snooker and have a laugh whacking stuff, the balls are so open. its hard to get onto colours sometimes, but thats where positional play comes in. If he can choose the right time and get true positional play with the odd hit and hope/whacking, he would be much better.

Was a bit silly of him to say all those things, but I suppose it comes along with his age...

                • The match did have some interesting parts, but I guess what disappointed the most was the actual quality of play. Trump's scoring was just too weak in the end, and we'll never really know if O'Sullivan had another gear here, because he just didn't need it.

So, the actual final just might be the better match after all.

                  • What were the stats for that match?

                    I missed it.

                    : (

p.s. How long until the next match?
My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                    I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

And his "My best is just as good as Ronnie's best" comment.

                      • Pity it wasn't the final, somewhat of an anti climax to it all now being rick or barry...

Nevermind will be nice to see ron thump it home at least...

To all the haters..... BIG LOLS... have it...

                        • What an anticlimactic semi-final this happened to be. Trump completely lost his calm from the get go in the first session and never worked his way back in. If Ronnie has been as sharp as he was against Stuart, he'd have finished him off way earlier. In the end, neither player played anywhere near their A games, and at times, they weren't even close to their B games.

So, back to back Worlds finals for Ronnie. I don't think the winner of the other match stands much of a chance, but I'll still be watching it.

                            Congrats Ronnie!

Best lesson Judd can learn from this is to take a year off and be fresh and prepare well and he too could play like that.
