  • 2.30 start, then the second session is 7pm according to the world snooker site.

To be honest Ronnies name was written all over the trophy from the start. He had Marcus in his first match and IMO, as well as he is cueing it was still very important that he got that first round draw being so long away from the game. And then there were the shock knock out of the big knobs. Judd could well be the next J White in never to win the WC, he pushes the boat out too far, taking on silly shots now and again just like Jimmy did. Judd should learn from Jimmys mistakes, Jimmy could have won WC more than once if he used his noddle better. Attacking play is good when your a great potter, but it will catch any of them out. The only player that can rattle Ronnie is J Higgins when he has his A game.

Monday starting time is 14:30...tomorrow apparently it's 14:00. And indeed on both days the evening session starts at 19:00.

Then, when the final is over, they should go back to the studio and review the final and event as a whole. That's what other sports do. In snooker, the tv program is finished 5 minutes after the final ball is potted.
I'm in complete and utter agreement with you on this!

I wonder about those in charge some times - I think it's common sense to make the final seem as important as possible and then review it at the end with highlights, perhaps a few interviews with past players, maybe bring back the 'shot of the tournament' ect.

          It's not rocket science.

Also having the smoke/bouncy music intro's for the last session only is stupid when there's a good chance the final could be all but over like last year (I mean that in general, not saying this year will be easy).

Must go through 15 chalk's a frame as well.

Not to mention how he has to bend both his knees on every shot from being so tall. His knees have to be shot after a tournament, especially when he goes this deep.

                  • Hawkins is almost through to the final and it is justice, he put Selby and Ding to the sword to get there so I guess he deserves his final. Walden probably wouldn't have made it that far, had he got anything else than qualifiers to play until the semifinal...

                              +1,

The start of the final Is huge for Barry tomorrow. Ronnies one tactic, to hammer Barry in the first session..

Barry, I really hope you read this, go out and enjoy it, mate and don't try too hard.

                              • i think it will be hard to call in the final, they have had 5 close matches, but all being short formats though and haven't met in 5 years.
