And then there were the shock knock out of the big knobs. Judd could well be the next J White in never to win the WC, he pushes the boat out too far, taking on silly shots now and again just like Jimmy did. Judd should learn from Jimmys mistakes, Jimmy could have won WC more than once if he used his noddle better. Attacking play is good when your a great potter, but it will catch any of them out. The only player that can rattle Ronnie is J Higgins when he has his A game.
      You are spot on mate!
Trump doesn't have the snooker brain. He may develop it in time, but at the moment he has no hope of beating an O'Sullivan at the peak of his powers.
I think we have seen the last of Higgins' A game. O'Sullivan knows this as well, which is why he got the slippers and pipe out for 11 months before turning up to collect the trophy...

      • Love Walden's sportsmanship.

Could someone explain why post-match interviews aren't made in front of the crowd? Players would've an opportunity to thank the crowd and people watching around the world, get another round of applause, have a bit of fun and share their happiness with everyone. Once the game is over, there's less than half a minute before the guys run away, just a quick hand up and they're gone. Must be a bit frustrating for the crowd

        • First few frames are so important tommorow for Hawkins especially.

Can't wait. Hopefully it's number 5 for Ronnie!

                      • No disrespect to Barry, but it will take a miracle for him to beat Ronnie over 35 frames.

If it was best of 19 I'd give him a chance. Over 35? No chance.

I just hope it isn't a complete romp.

                        • I just saw pics from World Snooker showing Stephen Hendry playing Dennis Taylor?

                          Any footage of this around?

                          : )

My favourite players: Walter Lindrum (AUS), Neil Robertson (AUS), Eddie Charlton (AUS), Robby Foldvari (AUS), Vinnie Calabrese (AUS), Jimmy White, Stephen Hendry, Alex Higgins, Ronnie O'Sullivan, Dominic Dale and Barry Hawkins.
                          I dream of a 147 (but would be happy with a 100)

Indeed, people are always complaining that the popularity of snooker is in decline. This is probably one of the reasons.
