notice the guy in the footie shirt sitting to ronnies right? how on earth does he get such good seats? seen him every year for the past few years in virtually the same seat on both sides of the table. not just for the final but other matches too this year and past.

Season tickets. Apparently World Snooker doesn't do those anymore, but the people who did buy em years ago still have this privilege. Btw...most people in the front row have season tickets...many recognizable faces there
1985 - with one of the legends of the game at his peak, a journeyman pro and mister nice guy but winner of just one ranking comp (that same season) in his long career got to his first and only world final.
He did well to get to the final having to win three games against higher ranked players but nobody gave him a chance and he quickly went 8-0 down with everybody saying it would be over by lunchtime - sound familiar?
