The winner gets 10,000 points so that would put him on 51,360 before any points come off as i think the WC point from 2 years ago come off if i remember correctly. Even if thats wrong and nothing gets taken off it will only put him at number 17 as Mark Davis is above that with points to go on.

he'll be seeding 1 though for next years wc and seed 2 for every other event i think ? cannot remember if that is still the case.

I note that O'Sullivan is getting introduced second (as the top seed) when I believe previously the higher ranked player would be introduced second regardless of ranking (for example Murphy before Davis in 2006). Bingham though is on the left of the TV scoreboard though so it would seem ranking still takes precedence here.
