Here's some archive footage of Patsy Fagan that you wouldn't find on youtube. It shows 3 matches that he was involved in two taking place in 1977...the UK Championship where he beat Doug Mountjoy to take the trophy.... the Dry Blackthorn Cup against Alex Higgins in December 1977 and the 1978 Irish Masters against Alex Higgins yet again.

It's also worth watching the video clip of Jack Rea doing some impressions and trick shots before both players come out to play the final..

These videos of Patsy give us some idea of how good a player he was in those days...with him winning the uk championship so early in his career there was a lot of pressure on him to reproduce that form, and i think that was one of the reasons why he didn't achieve as much as should have in the game.
