youth tournament on eurosport in the early nineties

I remember that in the early nineties Eurosport did organize a snookertournament for international young players. I know that at the time I saw the final on tv but can not seem to remember the players anymore.
Anybody also remember this tournament and the players?

Might be the one off tournament "Mita World Masters" in 1991 ? It had men, women, doubles, mixed doubles, and a junior division.

John Higgins beat Mark Williams in the junior final, and Jimmy White beat Tony Drago in the mens with a record £200.000 first price.

Remember it well. Shame it didn't become a regular. Because of this tournament I started to play more than once everyother weekend

i knew that was a final between higgins and williams but i was not sure anymore

indeed a shame that such a tournament does not exist anymore. You definitely then saw the future of snooker at work if you look at what kind of players they became

I remember it - I played in it!!
It was a fabulous event with players from all over the World

The was mens singles and doubles, ladies singles and doubles, juniors, mixed doubles

John Higgins beat Mark Williams in the final of the juniors

Jimmy White won the mens event

and Karen Corr won the ladies
