Some people are very optimistic with their predictions/opinions, but that's still okay for me. Anyway, was it another guy who beat The Rocket in the latest ranking event? It was back-to-back revenge yo....so for now it is still 50/50 chances between them in their upcoming meeting...

Brendan, I know that and I agree they are very close and it's always hard to predict who will be the man on form on the day. They have played each other quite often. They had a good few quality matches between them and they had a good few dreadful ones aswell. They had totally one-sided ones, and very close ones. I reacted to the "surely" ...

As I said, SURELY = optimistic word. Some people will have this kind of mentality. That just okay. I know you are Ronnie's fan. Don't get too emotional here.

I'm certainly not the emotional type ...
I don't like the kind of fanboying/fangirling that goes about their player (whoever that is) going to win this or that surely, and going to beat this or that one senseless... The reason for it is that I have too much respect for all players. On one hand I know that at least in the top 32 anyone could beat anyone on his day. On the other hand, some of those guys (or their mates) read these forums. I don't like putting unfair pressure on any of the guys, no more than I like the slagging off some get when their fans get disapointed.
They are human. All of them.

I really2 adore Ronnie's playing ability but I am all time Jimmy White's fan. It is even frustrating for me since Jimmy has never lift the World Title during the peak of his performance back in 15-20years ago.

By the way, I do hope Ronnie able to break Stephen's total winning ranking titles record.

Seems that way, but that doesn't alter the statistics which is what this author wanted.

                              The Rocket's beautiful

                              Here is one of them:

"Holds record with 38 consecutive ranking event match wins – in fact his first 38 matches as a professional."

This guy is surely the most natural talented snooker player we have seen so far.

i am afraid some of these figures are just wrong - for example it is stated that ronnie beat mark william 9-5 in the regal scottish well i was in the front row and it was 9-1. also i am pretty sure hunter beat ronnie in more than one masters final........
