    hi, what is the minimum thickness of cue tips, mine is currently 9mm but thickness is 3mm, seems abit low to me? as i keep miss cueing or not getting much back-spin which isn't normally a problem, thanks

    you can play with as thin as you like as long as the ferrule isn't exposed which could damage the cue-ball or cloth ... but obviously, if it's mis-cueing or generally not playing as you would like, it's time to change it!

      3 mm sounds ok, maybe its not holding the chalk as well as it should, try to shape it a bit, maybe it helps...
