Tell him to use the ebay global shipping programme, all he then has to do is send them to the GSP centre in the UK and ebay will ship worldwide from there. I use that all the time when I sell a cue abroad. He may need to update his listing for that.

He wasn't ready to send them to India. Anyways ordered and sent them to a mate in UK who will later send them to me. Will post once I receive them. Fingers crossed they weigh alright. The total weight including packaging is 4.63kg, I was told.

Hot water and washing up liquid is all you need, leave them to soak for ten minutes and clean them as if washing the dishes with a clean soft cloth.

But not too hot, because the red balls can turn pink.

I'm guessing he's stuck them in the dishwasher. My pal was going to do his, I gave him an old ball to test and it came out pink and blotchy.

I have seen it happen. The water was too hot... the red balls got glazed and turned pink. Had to replace them.

Yes seen it happen. Maybe touch of bleach in the machine.

Never thought of that Nifty, it was just a clean water run but there may have been some residue of detergent. I just thought it was the heat.

Probably the dishwasher salt too, very soft water tends to make colours fade

Shame really, I can't think of an easier way to clean balls with little effort, I've done it a few times with my old set of 3G's that only set me back £70 a few years ago now, I got to the stage where I thought well sod it I'll give it a go. Used the lowest setting, just some washing up liquid in the tablet compartment and worked really well. Obviously can't recommend it though .....

In my case I started with a bucket of hot tap water. Boiled the jug and added some more hot water with a few drops of detergent. The red balls turned pink almost immediately. Don't know if the other colours were affected because I didn't get that far... immediately fished out the red balls and hoped that they would return to red when they cooled. They didn't so I had to buy a new set. Just lucky that I did this at home and not at the club.
