sighting

hi, what are your views on sighting a pot, the line up and where you look when striking the white? i normally just look at the angle get down to take shot, eyes look at the object ball, switch to white then when i'm hitting it, then look at object ball. but i know others just stay focused on object ball even when hitting white? i find i hit it wrong doing it that way. any views please

i think both methods are used, i'm alo looking at the object ball, when i'm striking the white, but some people prefer to concentrate on the spot to hit on the white, and if the deliverry of the cue is ok and the correct line is picked, there shouldn't be any problem to pot the object ball...

I keep looking at both but the last one I look at is probs the ball I am tying to pot

I agree Billy, view must switch between both balls but at the point of impact you must be looking at the object ball.
