I asked my playing partner about the pockets and he said they were quite generous .
When your playing comps though that means nothing as the balls get bigger and the pockets smaller

Ha very true. I wasn't sure if it was just the camera angle. I know my pal said they weren't as tight as Bathgate snooker club.

Yeah , it was interesting to watch wasn’t it. A few of the players from my pro am days in the 80’s still playing and some coming back from not playing .
The standard was good in the last few rounds as well.
