I’m surprised Vape companies haven’t got in on some action! All the kids these days are puffing away like steam trains…

There you go, a hotel sponsor. The Nirvana Turkish Masters.

Would be ironic after the tobacco sponsorship ban. I don't know the effects of vaping but inhaling any kind of smoke in to your lungs isn't going to be helping you live longer.

Wonder if they put up the full 500k prize money? Looks like a good deal to me. Possible boost to tourism for the hotel and maybe a chance for snooker to expand to Turkey. Maybe a win win.

Interesting. Tried to post a pound and dollar sign and an inverted v. Ignored them all.

                    2) Water
                    3) Tables
                    4) Balls.
One other suggestion. Just jumping on an idea from another thread. What about a hair replacement therapy company or wig manufacturer? Can just see Luca with a nice curly blond syrup.
Evian water is distributed globally. Why not think big and look for sponsorship form companies such as car manufacturers, investment firms, insurance companies, luxury goods companies as a few examples. Look at any product or service that we all have to spend money on. All companies have marketing budgets. Golf has these types of sponsors so why not snooker and pool?

Rolex sponsor golf and tennis ,maybe it would good to see the sister company Tudor as a sponsor or Omega etc ,at least snooker is a game / sport where a players watch is clearly seen ,or maybe snooker is not right for those company’s image .Cazoo playing a bigger part in snooker is a good move in the right direction away from the gambling image .Interesting thing about Tudor watches ,David Becham is their main ambassador for the brand I’m sure that would put a lot of people off buying a watch from them ,wouldn’t bother me too much still love the look of the black bay bronze ( no I haven’t got one ) yet .

I really like the idea of a nice watch sponsor, in a game where time is constantly mentioned (longest frame, quickest Maxi, AST, time since last pot etc) it seems very apt.

Would bring a nice touch of class back to those tourneys were black tie is still the standard.

Any sponsor will only look at one thing, will the fans of the sport buy their goods/services?
Golf gets big names because the "demographic" is that the fans of golf are perceived to have the where-with-all to buy the goods.
This maybe be wrong, maybe be narrow minded but a company will not spend their money without any ROI - return on investment. That return is usually sales or it can be brand image.
The only time I saw a company sponsor and event when it was not clear on ROI was Agip and Carom, and that was because the old boss enjoyed the game himself; as soon as he retired, the firm withdrew and the event disappeared and the sport disappeared from Eurosport

I like a good watch, so I vote with CC above

I don’t know why a main up market watch brand is not involved in snooker ,when you watch golf and tennis live the amount of swear words coming out by players is amazing ,commentators are always apologising .At least snooker is mainly PG rated .Yeah Cue Crafty ,the time thing ,frames etc is another good point .
