Those calor gas heaters can produce some amount of water.

Hi I left the calor gas off just had heater tubes on and I put foil insulation below tubes fixed to table frame to trap heat and it’s improved the cue ball response, so I my save some pennies and get a hairsworth cloth which apparently copes better with colder conditions

There's a guy in our league who takes a set of weighing scales to matches and tournaments and weighs the cue ball before games...

Get rid of the gad heaters and fit economy thermostatic electric ones. What’s the inner dimensions of your room ,do you have a damp proof Concrete base ,all these things will make a difference .

It’s behaviour like this that really puts me off playing in them tbh . That and driving 30 mins to play one or two games against somebody like that.

Yeah the guy is a complete tool. Last time I played him the ref called a touching ball, he queried it and got his torch out on his phone to prove his point. He was actually correct but it's just not the done thing in snooker. I would have been honest anyway and had a little look.

Hi my room is 6.7 x 4.8 and the base was 2 large shed bases with dpm and they where incorporated within the snooker room base, which I put a top dpm over the lot and I’ve Capet tiled, the room feels dry just cold, I did mention earlier that I’ve just put foil insulation under table to trap heat in from heater tubes which has improved the whites reaction some

99% times it boils down to poor cue action. Barton made a video on it recently, you can watch it on his youtube channel. Record yourself slowmo preferably and see if where it's going wrong.

Steve I drew 1-1 with him last week in the league, lost the first frame and in the second i'm 90-0 up with one red left and he's trying to score a point.
