By my opinion still a bit early, but at the moment it looks like Neil Robertson is the man to beat, but he hasn´t the best statistics from the world championship.

Probably Neil Robertson ,him and Ronnie seem to be the in form most consistent players this year ,I don’t think Ronnie has the consistency and concentration for a 17 day campaign any more though .

None of the big boys seem consistent enough atm, so I'm hoping for a rank outsider. Based on his last performance, bit daft I know, but he's young, hungry and riding the crest of the current Chinese wave, so what the hell. I choose Fan Zhengyi. C'MON FAN!!

I've gone with Yan, I think he has the all round game to suit long format matches, he's a chinese Selby in my eyes.
Also he practices and lives in Sheffield, the tournament couldn't be better suited to him (and the other Chinese lads who practice at Victoria Snooker centre)

I've gone for Robbo, I think he will have taken his issues with the Crucible and World's format seriously and will come prepared with a game plan to combat them this year. He's in top form and knows he will join the elite set with a second title so has plenty of motivation. Not to mention, he's an Aussie so will be pumped up for it mate!!

I’m going for a new name on the trophy and a complete outsider. Not had one since Murphy. Can’t wait for the draw to get my bets on. Highlight of the year for me losing all my dosh lol.

I’d like to go for Neil because he is my favourite player to watch after Ronnie and Judd, but he just can’t seem to pull it together at the Crucible! I think Ronnie will have a good run and seems to be up for it. My vote goes to Judd this year though, I fancy him to come good at the right time and take it this year.

I'd like to see Higgins, Robertson or Trump win another. Out of all the current crop, they are the 3 who probably deserve more titles than they already have.

I'd love Robertson to win it but he always seems to hit someone having the match of their lives but I'll still go for him.
This is how you play darts ,MVG two nines in the same match!

That’s a good point and it’s why I fancy Yan or Robbo for it this year.
Out of the up and coming Chinese players Yan has the game more suited to the Worlds.
I think there will be a few surprising results this year as per the season as a whole .

I think it's quite exciting and good for the game to see different winners, gets a bit repetitive seeing the same faces on TV IMO.
Robbo is my second choice, he's far too good to only win one worlds!

Only Murphy and Griffiths have come through the qualifiers to win. Most (All?) winners come from top 16.
