  • Table booking system

Hello folks, just wondering if any of you use an on-line table booking system at your club. We have two tables at our club and we are planning on just making one of them bookable with the other available tp any members who may drop in to play at any time.

If you do use such a system, is there some reasonably priced software available for setting up such a system or, is it something that could be done via Google or suchlike. At the moment we operate with a sheet on the notice board at the club but, that does mean having to go to the club to see what times are available whereas if there was an on-line system, this would make things much easier.

    Many thanks.

I’m not aware of anything specific to snooker tables but I’m pretty sure someone with some basic IT skills could set something up based on a simple spreadsheet which could be accessed and filled in remotely. Users would have to have some basic computing skills eg logging on/off to a system.

If you think of a restaurant table booking system which seem popular, something like that should suit the bill?

probably some freeware out there somewhere that’ll do the job but I’m not an expert.

Not looked into it yet but i guess google calendar could be an option.
If all members had access to the calendar they could see what times are free and book them.

Rileys used to have a good booking system when they had a club in my town. Can't tell you what they used, but you could see all the tables and the available times. My club now you just phone up, or put it in the book when you're in.

Sounds like a simple free solution
