friend of mine is interested in taking up refereeing but says he cannot find any info on how to get started.can anyone help with any addresses or organisations he can contact.thanks in advance for help.

If you are resident in England you need to contact the EASB and information can be found on their website. -
It depends on which county you are in but you should be able to find a local referee association through your local snooker club which can help with finding local referees, tutors and exam details. If you look at 100-uper EASB link, you can find info on becoming a referee.Some days I'm the statue.
