I saw this some years ago (or its early version or something very very similar) and we discussed this on TSF back then

Proves the technology is there but WST are not investing in it. I'm sure some of the players think it hilarious when they have to play a hit and hope shot and send a number of balls flying in different directions then get called foul and a miss! You can see on their faces they are thinking good luck with that referee!

Whoever is managing the Star table contract should be looking to get more value from it and this should be on the list. 🤔

Anyone using that sort of stuff is, in my opinion, cheating. However, I don't see why that couldn't be adapted to support referees replacing balls.

That shot Bings just played, gifting the frame to Jak, makes you think did he have a bet on that!!! Worst shot ever, he has no chance of winning at all after that. Terrible terrible decision.
