Email John, politely state the imperfections and mention after the time you waited, and that it was quite disappointing to find a few imperfections that you hope the shop will be able to rectify etc. Don't go all guns blazing even though you may feel you have the right. I say this because friends I know have experienced the same last year but got some action and had faults rectified by being reserved and stating facts

I know when you go "premium" it's fair to expect a good product but once you're not happy, it becomes a game of patience and persistence in a friendly manner to get what you deserve.
