Favourite Object Ball?

Which object ball is your favourite? I vote for the blue because of its versatility. Like looking at the ocean, can pot into the corner pockets if you lose position slightly and it is instrumental for break building purposes (i.e. using it to canon into the pink and reds). Which is your favourite object ball and why?

This is spot on. The blue can literally be taken into any pocket on the table from its spot, and the biggest advancement in the game has been the players' willingness to do so rather than treating a blue to corner as a pressure shot. It has so many uses - a surrogate pink/black when they are tied up for break building purposes, breaking the pack from above, getting back down the table when you fall out of position. The black is the scoring ball, and the pink its backup; the yellow, green and brown are snookering balls, but the blue is a tool - whenever you're in trouble the blue will invariably come to the rescue!

just because i absolutely HAVE to be different, and also because none of the snooker colours have ever been much of a use to me....

Just seen this totally random thread! Mine is the black and there is no better feeling for me than to pot a black and come off the cushion nicely onto your next red. WONDERFUL.
