  • Mike wooldridge or maximus ultimate

I've got a maximus ultimate but thinking of getting a mike wooldridge legend. What's his cues like compared to the ultimate. Any ideas?

If money isn't an issue, I'd get a wooldridge all day long

What makes you want to change from the Ultimate in the first place ?.

I don't know why I've had the ultimate for a while and I think I'm going through a bit of a bad patch and I was thinking of trying a different cue

Ahhh… well I think you probably know what my answer to that will be .
Of course , if you just fancy playing with a new cue then go for it but best not to presume that it will make you play any better .

Fair enough, both of those cues will be good ( I play with a Maximus) . None will be any better than the other and each cue within the same range will play differently .
At that level of cue the main difference will be the name on the badge ..

Good luck in your decision .

You’ll be going from one stiff shaft to another so, the playing experience is likely to be the same.
What cue spec you looking for?

Good luck. Like all TW cues, it is very good. Just a bit heavy for my liking.
