I know that the pro's use a different type of triangle to the one that we use but, I am wondering how the referee guarantees that the back row of reds is absolutely parallel to the black cushion. I presume that it must/should be parallel.

Played in comps where you have to use those square triangles, they are a bloody nuisance. Ok wheeling them up und down in a straight line but they don't go sideways so it's a pain trying to adjust them if you're a bit out.

Doesn't something in the frame line up with the black spot to ensure the balls are central when the frame is touching the top cushion and then the rollers keep it so ?Speak up, you've got to speak up against the madness, you've got speak your mind if you dare
