  • Mike woolridge supertips

    Hi
I wonder if anyone can help me , I’ve always (well last few years) used Mike woolridge super tips but just changed my tip on my cue and the last ones I bought a while back now seem very hard and unplayable may have got a bad batch, but I can’t seem to find them for sale anywhere? Can anyone recommend a cue tip about the same as those please.

I believe that a German retailer has some in stock:
    Mr Billard or something.

Out of stock on handmade site.

I only have a few left so hoping they will last me
None have gone hard on me over the years.
    Up the TSF! :snooker:

Mike W told me that the ones that the German company are selling are fakes. I e-mailed them asking them where they had sourced the tips from. No reply so far.
The yellow packaging looks like the MW tips which were sold circa 2005. Hard to believe some of these are still around.

          thanks for the info.

The pack of 5 I got off Mike's own website in the late-20-teens (after supposedly back to good quality) are on a yellow board.

Dean, the German ones looked good to me but Mike W said he could spot slight differences in the font. Only tiny thing I could see was a small space between the S and the U. Attached is a photo of a genuine pack which I lifted from one of Mike’s FB posts.

Long shot. Do you still have the packaging?

Also found the original order from Mike's website:

Order #6793 was placed on 26th November 2017

Thanks Dean. You’ll see what I mean about the space between the S and the U. MW was very clear….100% fake from China… were his exact words. I’ll chase up MCBilliards next week for a reply to my e-mail asking them where they sourced the tips from. They look like a decent enough company so may not know they’re selling counterfeit goods. There’s so much of it around.

Dean. Here's a copy of a FB post from MW. It shows a photo of the original original packaging from 2005. The same as your 2017 purchase. No space between the S and the U.
