Just out of curiosity: has anyone ever tried to put a pool cloth on a snooker table? Wouldn't it be a lot faster and less influence of the nap (there is no nap )

Would be very hard to play on and wouldn't last more than a few weeks, it would be wrecked around the black and pink spots very quickly.

Using pool cloth on a snooker table might alter gameplay significantly. While it could make the table faster and reduce nap influence, it might also affect ball control and strategy. Traditional snooker cloth's nap plays a crucial role in shot-making. Interesting idea, though, worth exploring in experimental setups!
