Being using Talisman Soft but as of late the seem to delaminate all the time, so i have tried the phoenix tips from craftsman cues and wow tried the Medium Grade and was a tad too hard for me, so i have tried the Soft One and what a great Tip, you can fell the shot so well it feels more like a good Elkmaster when playing, They also hold the chalk very well no miss cues at all.

Great Tips just get one of the cue tip trimmers of ebay that look like a giant pencil sharperner it makes trimming them down so easy as there only available in 11mm, so as far as i am concerned i will be buying some more of these. Great Tips.

So I put a pool baron tip on I got from ADR and it feels some much better already..... Also looking forward to trying the Aurora tips out my mate plays with one and swears by it!!
I am the same as you, hated the Kamui blacks. Also got some Pool Baron tips from Andrew and they are really good, responsive tips. Aurora is my choice for laminated tips, superb imo.

Looks like the phoenix tips from craftsman are gaining in popularity - might have to give one a try.

                hi everyone,
has anyone reading this had a pheonix tip that they have had on there cue and been using for a considerable length of time? Any feedback greatly appreciated regarding performance of these tips once they've keen on a while. Thanks

got a couple of pheonix soft tips today. Gonna fit one in the morning and have a session tomorrow with it. Got fed up of constantly trying to shape pressed tips and i played some decent stuff with a talisman soft last year so will see how i get on!

                        well i've tried so many brands ....( kamui , kamui blaks , moori , kamori , talisman , buffalo , elkmaster , cuetec , mw .... etc )
never got better sensations than with my old elks ,
layered tips , even the super softs ones are way to hard for me . the only annoying thing is having to reshapped it all the time as it mushroom a lot
                        any advice ?

I,ve had phoenix mediums on two cues for about two - three months and they are still playing great , Holding the chalk just as well too . Tally,s and Kamui,s usually go harder by now and the chalk starts to lose it,s grip but theres no signs of these doing that .

Had my phoenix tip on for 4 month now and still plays well, will probably get a couple of month out of it, bought 3 so will def be putting another on.
What did you think to your phoenix tip, have you tried it yet?
                            People say I disagree a lot, but I don't think I do.

i'm interested in these phoenix tips
have someone tried the poenix black soft ones ? as said before i'm used to elkmasters tips so i look for pretty softs tips . i'm getting bored of re-shapping them all the time and they don't last long but never felt better than with them as the layered tips or others i tried was way to hard

had bout 10 frames or so with a pheonix soft tip on and so far i must say it feels like a very nice tip. nice and responsive and a bit softer than a soft tally. will stick with it but as things stand this is looking like a tip i'm going to stay with.
