they are (imo) certainly the best value for money if you want to take the step up from a "factory" cue to a UK made handmade cue without spending too much money ...

phenomenal value for money if you ask me ... as RG said, and me too, me and him will be the first to say "well done" and shake you by the hand when you win with whatever cue you play with ...
but can't we enjoy playing with our cue and enjoying the little "phut" noise as we take it apart when we win?

One day all the top cuemakers are going to get an email asking them to record the sound thier joints make... Man are they going to be confused
Seriously DandyA are you being paid? I think we know the web address by now1! And my whole cue was actually 160 as i ordered a custom design with 4 Tulip splices and a Tulip mini butt. Doesn't the mini butt come with the same joint? I can imagine it now, you play a spectacular shot stretching with the mini butt on, and to reward yourself you get to hear the little "phut" as you prepare for your next shotsigpic A Truly Beakerific Long Pot Sir!

I bought my Welsh Dragon at the beggining of October so you'd need to check with him whether things have changed ... but on my cue, the mini-butt fits both the butt joint or the shaft joint ... so it extends the cue for snooker and also shortens the cue on the hampered UK 8-ball table at my local pub (this seriously ****es off players with JP cues) ...
I was going to buy the long extension but actually Bitter recommended his telescopic mini-butt ... goes from around 6" to 12" ... at 6' 1" that means I can reach all shots except say 1' from the end on a snooker table ... only needed longer twice since then and choose to double (ie kick rather than bank the shot in American terms) rather than resort to the "fishing tackle" ...

The standard cues i believe are 125 without extensions. I would have got the telescopic mini butt but i wanted a matching tulipwood one purely from an aesthetic perspective. I actually would like the short version of the extensions that you can get, the standard long extension is i believe 23-37" or something similar however you can get shorter versions at about 11-15". I don't believe he does these though. I find the standard long ones too unwieldy. If you watch the pros on TV very rarely do they have to extend the long extensions when they use them.sigpic A Truly Beakerific Long Pot Sir!
