  • re-spot the colour?

So, while the reds are on the table, if a colour is legally potted, (i.e. after a red) but the white goes in, then the colour gets respotted and the opponent gets a value equal to the colours value or 4 if it's less than that.

But what about when there aren't reds on the table? does the colour still get respotted? im assuming it does, and it's probably really obvious, but it happened on tuesday while i was playing and i couldnt remember.

    thanks,

If you go in-off on a colour then it always gets re-spotted mate, even if there are no reds on the table.
After 15 reds and 15 blacks i did this http://youtu.be/DupuczMS2o4

      thanks,
The same scenario, you get concede a 4-point penalty if you're playing yellow, green or brown, 5-point if you're playing blue, 6-point for pink. The colour is respotted and the white goes to the D and it's your opponent's turn.

If you go in-off on the black, you lose the frame unless you were leading by 7points up that stage, then the black is respotted, the referee tosses a coin to decide who breaks off on the respotted black.

I'm assuming that you are implying that the black is the only colour left on the table. Also, the actual definition is 'the referee draws lots', though usually it is a toss of the coin.
You are only the best on the day you win.
