Hi again guys.
Another update from one of the Liverpool kids.
Josh Mullholland (13 yrs old) managed his first century break this week. He missed the green on 104 against Clayton Humphries so could have had a 129 total clearance as his first ton.
Josh also won his first Northwest U/16s Tour Event (event 3) in Manchester at the weekend, dropping only one frame while winning 12 in the process.
Great kid whose only been playing 2 1/2 years.
Well done Josh.Neil Johnson

Cheers nevets. Would like to think I could become a great player, but I would settle for canny good, or just good, or goodish.
I've always watched Snooker but until 4 months ago never really played more than the odd frame. Now I'm obsessed! To the point that I'm playing in my sleep and waking up telling the wife what a cracking shot I just played! ha ha

I had the best session of snooker since changing my cue action last night, I had a 60, 61, 55, 48 and few more 40's. My game is progressing nicely and to be on honest the red I missed on 60 was a shocker, I should have made a ton there 3 reds left in good positions. I was also on for a 64 total clearence, when in perfect postion on the brown I got one of the worst kicks ever, the white jumped clean of the table. I'm having second thoughts about selling my cue now.
Ps: I still got beat even with these breaks, I hate my practice partner he is just too good.Last edited by cazmac1; 28 November 2010, 12:52 PM.

Well done Caz keep the momentum going . I,m switching cues like you constanly between four cues .
The one thing i have realised is that when your cueing well and hitting the ball sweet , you can do it with any cue that suits you .
When youre playing well with one cue you think this is the one for me then you swap and play equally well with another and think the same .
I,m trying to stick to one but know deep down that i wont do so

Since finding this thread last week and posting for Clayton Humpries achievements of late I have been reminded of some of my other pupils breaks.
Jack Fitzmaurice (14 yrs old) broke down on 91 last week, but it should only be a matter of time before he meets his next milestone.
Joe Rogers (15 yrs old) compiled a 92 on Friday, two weeks after making his first century.
Also, as Josh Mullholland was on his way to winning section 1 of the Northwest U/16s in Manchester last Sunday, Joe secured his first stage win in section 2 in Liverpool. And just like Josh, he did this dropping only one frame and winning 12.
Joe is a really nice lad who has shown a fantastic attitude to the changes he has made in his game recently.
Well done Joe, everyone new you could do it, even if you didn't.Neil Johnson
