            • nothing substantial today,

had a 28 and a 25, good news is, table is being reclothed, which means the pockets are being sorted out, which means im going to start notching up some more 50's without having to play on other peoples tables to get them!

              score!
what a frustrating, yet addictive game this is....

              • Had a 54 yesterday against a club mate. 1 blue and 6 blacks. Seven reds were left, but I had no shot to continue, couldn't develop anything. OK, maybe I ask for too much. 50+ is a huge break for me as I only had about 4 of them in the last 4 months.

                • Only played twice the past week. Managed a 24 break in a match on Thursday (was handicapped and I was giving my opponent a 29 start). Messy frame as he was only leaving me shots to nothing.

Also had a 25 break on Saturday night after a few beers messing about. Nowhere near my normal standard, but not had much play recently.
                  Cheers

                        • thank you Acrowot!

just come back from the club now first time really playing on my own on the table since its new tournament cloth and my word it is lovely!! lol..

spread the balls everywhere and had a little mess around as well...managed a 51 until i tried a gentle screw shot when left me almost on the baulk cushion! i was like woah....what happened there! haha

then played 3 frames against a person who is well reknowned for his safety game, was very happy to win 3-0 but also managed a 38 using one blue and the rest baulk colours! haha had a couple of 24's as well still getting used to such a zippy table its lovely! lol

                          • I've had a few 20 odd breaks this week, not much cop by others standards I know, but to me it's showing me I'm improving, the table I play on is stupidly fast wit hardly any cloth left on it and soooo many holes, the cushions are bouncy as hell and super tight pockets so all in all I'm rather pleased...

Next stop some regular 30 breaks me thinks....
                            One day I'll make a century, I've knocked in a 51!

would the satisfaction of playing the exhibition shot outweigh the satisfaction of getting the century? i doubt it,not for me anyway.
