productive session earlier, 9 frames, win 6-3, had a 61, 55, 47, 37 and a 32. miscued a black on 61, there was 5 open reds left!!!! the consistency is good at the moment though, apart from the miscue i dont recall missing a black off its spot all session. my positional play lets me down though, i have to play far too many recovery shots, and there's only so many of them you can make. still, enjoying it at the moment, if i can maintain this level and progress steadily i'll be one happy bunny :-)

53 - could have been more, missed a relatively simple brown but the pink was tight on the cushion anyway so i don't think i couldve cleared.

it is my first in a match,,but i have made quite a few before,in practice in various clubs with different players ,,but not so many the last 10 years because of the usual stuff,family , houses,job etc but have put more practice in the last 12 months , and with some very good players and it has brought my game back to a decent level ,, i must admit i thought my days of making century clearances in deciding matches were long gone (i am 41 now),it just goes to show you are never to old to reach your goals !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

there is hope for me yet then, ive made a few 30s now since returning to playing but short term i want a 40 and long term 50+. i dont think ill ever knock in a ton but i will be well happy with anything over 50.

I never made one until I was 40! Ive managed 4 now, I made my last on Saturday a 109 clearance, not a total clearance, but thats 4 in 9 months for me :-)

Last week my highest was 19 in a one-frame match I played in the league. The week before that I got a 52 break.

I equalled my hb on Friday - 53 - but was pretty upset with it. There were 4 reds left 2 on the cushion so played a cannon off a red to move them (and they landed dead over the middle and bottom corner pocket). I then rolled a blue in and managed to snooker myself on every red!! So, tried a swerve and clipped the black.

Everythig was sitting pretty, all colours on their spots... again should have been more. Then yesterday played awful in a tournament - was given a good handicap and just ended up playing really defensive because of the headstart I'd been given. Oh well.

Had an 97 in the week (on for 147), also made a 45 in billiards on Saturday night(highest billiards break)

Played really well for me this evening got 38 and missed an easy pink off its spot. I think i got excited that i was gonna do 40+ and missed the corner pocket by about 4" With the spread of the balls i could probably have had a 50 if i hadnt bottled out. but i suppose thats for another day.
