Weeks best break

But, my long potting is stil horrendous,

We have something in common then, i probably pot only 2 out of every 10 long pots. Sometimes even when i'm playing the length of the table and the object ball is nearly over the pocket sometimes.

Something for Nic to help us with next time! I'm betting he would spot a couple of flaws rather quickly.

I've noticed the problem I had off cueing too long on the shot has pretty much gone. Just going over the basics and knowing the reasons why you are doing such actions really helps.

46. One week ago today, does it still count?
Playing six reds, took the final three with pink, black and green (the only colours not on their spots), then cleared the colours. My first clearance ever, and blew away my previous best of 28. I LOVE this game!

Yep it's a really good buzz when you make clearances like that... I've had a 45 and 50 clearance in past few months.. just imagine what a 70 or 80 feels like! :-)

Hi i went out last night for a few hours to play one of my team mates down our local club. I had a few 50 odds feeling quite good and then had a 130 clearance. Aint had a 130 for quite some time so it was a great feeling knowing that what ive recently discovered is starting to bear fruits!!! :snooker:

Had a break of 39 yesterday but should have been so much more. Seem to struggle with my positional play quite a bit when i get close to a 40 break..

My highest this week was a 36 I had in a game on Saturday night (I had a 32 the frame before). I also had a couple of 32s on Sunday.

Snooker is playable in only three places in our entire country, with only one of them is close enough for me to go and play and U-21's are not accepted, so whatever break you make, you should be happy with it, considering I can' even watch a game live at club
