Not too often,1-5 week. Some days 2 and manymany days 0. 40-80 brakes making a lot.
Club pockets makes it easy,2 tables our club have very tight pockets. Balls are like under black veryveryvery difficult and hand starts to make wrong moveLast edited by seppo147; 24 November 2010, 07:21 PM.

37 which I fancied as a 50 odd having two more open reds in play before even thinking about the black to yellow shot, just overran the positional shot so Im happy with that as its a new way to duff up a break in a frame.
My old way was getting carried away with the anticipation of a big break or shot selection problems. At least now my focus is still there at 30+

Does everyone do what i do ? that is, ime constantly adding up in my head what the next black will make the break add up to, and hence dont pay enough attention to the pot.
I reckon the pros have it easy as the ref keeps count for them

Lucky you then ! even when me and my mates are playing, for some daft reason we keep our own scores - got to change that soon as ime sure its holding me back. My highest break this week is 40 - 5 reds, 5 blacks - then missed an easy sitter of a red - strange thing is i did exactly the same a week gone saturday !!

I've managed to kurb the pressure element now, i dont tighten up on myself to do in a frame because I know I can in practice and all that nonsense.
Instead I'm just trying to take each 30+ as a learning experience and its often as I say when Im faced with a cannon or a difficult positional shot. The pressure's gone and I'm just looking at why I broke down and trying to put it right the next time Im in a similar situation. I've only been playing snooker seriously for around 6 months I have to take the pressure off myself and remember this sometimes.
I think we should all use a similar method ie "i only play for fun" or "ive only been playing for a year or less" or "i dont practice as much as I used to" whatever.
In around the balls I think it just helps to open up and enjoy your time with the magic of break building

Highest break is only 44, so if i reach 50 - i will be over the moon - and both of those times if the red had gone in, i had an easy black or pink and several reds still to have a go at - so gutted to have wasted my chance - never mind its only a game eh :snooker:
