I continue to practise as much as i can but not enough. Just want to breaking through the 50plus barrier..

If you keep practicing you surely will.. i really struggled to break the 50 barrier, then one day i suddenly got a 70 break, and from then i havent stopped!! determination and composure... dont force the breaks either, let them come naturally, thats the biggest thing that ive learnt!

Yes you're right but sometimes it's easier said than done. I just expect too much of myself and therefore put unnecessary pressure on myself..

cueball control,practise that. I do in practise game if there easy to go black i try to do 5 times blue and so far. I do mistakes a lot and my opponent gets easy start,i pu t my self pressure and dont feel bad missing. I think makes brake,cueball is like u put it by hand.

That's the difference between you and me...i do feel bad when i miss when i'm on a good break and punish myself for it..

113 , missed final black , coz i landed straight i had more to do with cue ball , took attention off pot , fuming , not had maximum in 3 years so was not happy , cue still in one piece but , ooooooooooooo it was close to dying

oh mate , i screamed , the table was terrible also , i contemplated just screwing back 12 " and play long yellow , but playing against baize on that table was a joke , it was like a carpet , lousy table , but hey ho , back to snooker i go

I take it the yellow was on it's spot and you had to play the black at pace?

Impressive break fozzer I'd more than settle for 113!!!

In 3 frames tonight I had a 43 and a 54 (with a missed black for a 61 clearance - d'oh!). Then played some decent pool - signs of things improving.

yeh yellow was on spot, but i played it wrong , came right across on cue , so my fault .
